>>The question is how big is the demand? <<

There was an interview with the CEO a few weeks or maybe a month ago in which he said that the business should see a substantial uptick in summer 2000 because Motorola is designing some new phones around some RFMD components, and those phones are scheduled to begin volume production in mid-2000. This should help ease concerns about RFMD's reliance on NOK for ~50% of revenues (although if you have to rely on someone, NOK is about as good as it gets). Perhaps you're right, and the new capacity is already spoken for.

RFMD 2000! Yeah!!

I guess SI is Y2K compliant.

Happy New Year Robert, and good luck to you and all RFMD shareholders. The coming year should be an exciting and profitable one.

Neal

Do you call for a chip like calling for a dog?

"Come Chip, Come!"

Don't you suppose chips are ordered like anything else. Why not check the page and see if they are taking orders. They are still hiring in Greensboro in many categories. Don't seem quite ready to go yet.
