Jim- OK it appears you can now gloat safely !!! 63-0 at the half
I cannot believe it has been 24 hours and not a single reported major problem reported worldwide.
I thought I was so doggone careful in where I sifted Y2 info and cannot believe it turned into such a hoax.
I cannot believe how much time and money was spent.
Unless something happens monday the companies who spent billions are going to be after the heads of someone because supposedly the companies who did nothing are doing just fine--
Talk about crying wolf !
Even the terrorists appear to have stayed home because of fear of travel on Y2K !
I still am waiting a week before taking things to homeless shelter and will never again get as unprepared as I was pre Y2hoax.
Thank goodness we only prepared moderately-- I have a friend who went overboard and is going to be so embarrassed to face alot of people.
God Bless all and have a safe, healthy and prosperous new year.

Jeff

Here is an update on the Lee County Ken Wilkinson story:
naplesnews.com

Gartner Group ridiculed and their bill goes unpaid, while Keane is about to be sued for slagging the in-house work. What can I say, couldn't happen to nicer guys. I have maintained from the beginning that this story is the best example to explain how Y2K could simultaneously be a real applications problem and a hoax. In my opinion, it should be covered by every national media organization.

As for you Bill, congratulations are in order - I think we can call this a bulls-eye.

Global Warming Hype reminds me of the Why Too Kay dayz. Ah, Why Too Kay, I miss debating with the doomers. Seven years, time flies.
