Karl, Thanks for posting that. Lately I have been think of changing to a deep discount broker. It confirms some of my belief that we sometimes get what we pay for in brokers. I got into Accutrade (The prototype parent of the current Ameratrade(sp?)) when it first became available. Something's aren't convenient, I have to call the broker for trades on pennies and usually end up paying 5% commission. Larger stocks however are $0.02/share and the internet trading works well. Since I trade often (make them lots of money), I even have a personal broker assigned to me. He even waved some legitimate fees for me when I had questions. The nicest thing about them is the service, I get answers and solutions. The answers sometimes may take part of a day, but I get the answers and solutions. Even during the worst market selloff days, I get limit order trades executed in seconds and can talk to a trading specialist or customer service in less than a minute. Sometimes we get what we pay for?
