CPQ should have an upside surprise in Revenues in the quarter that Wildfire ships, and i think CPQ will really run after that.

Wildfire + 8-way servers should = lots of profits in 2000 for CPQ.

anything else that CPQ can muster in Tandem Himalaya systems, storage, services, telecom, Alta-vista IPO, etc... is icing on the cake.

i think CPQ should be making so much money in their Enterprise division in 2000 that they will easily meet expectations for the next several quarters regardless of what they do in consumer or commercial PC's. Of course if they can get commercial PC's straightened out, with iPaq or some sort of buy out of Inacom, all the better!
