The term "basing" is not clearly defined. If that means a stock moves in a narrow range, it could be
MAXC50/MINC50 < 1.2
or
MAXH50/MINL50 < 1.2
You need to play with the numbers 50 and 1.2 to meet your definition of "basing."

Another good source is here in this thread. In December 1998, Rob Kipp posted a number of top scans.

Keep in mind that TC2000 can not do back test.

TC2000 is quite useful in picking breakout stocks, for example, HCC, HTCH, LMT, RSG.
