Post Y2K Ramblings

DD and All,

Hard for me to believe, but I must admit it looks like the Y2K bullet pretty much missed. I expect we will see more problems as the week progresses, the systems get turned back on and people return to work. However, even at a level 10x higher, without power interruptions, they should be able to be fixed or worked around, albeit at some cost to company earnings. Even the terrorist threats so far seem to have largely fizzled out.

I guess I dine inexpensively this year.

PS - I will pass on both the GATA and ABX memberships ... Neither work of fiction is my cup of tea leaves. :-))

(1) My opinion, not GATA's, of ABX.
(2) GATA News - I left out the Barrick references.

No Problem.
