Of course, the market faces some potential trouble spots in 2000. Interest rates, on the rise in 1999, could face further increases if the Federal Reserve determines that the economy is still growing too quickly.

The effect of this falls most heavily on cash-poor companies and consumers, not many of which we are looking at, which puts this information in the "ignor" column.

The same article tells us, twice, that technology is where the action is. Duh.
