First of all...typical for the fm's to be re-balancing. Secondly, fund managers and analysts are a joke. Folks listening and following these idiots certainly will be missing out on stellar gains in stellar companies. History is proof of this.

AOL is on a lot of folks must have lists. Lots of new internet funds starting out in january. What will they be buying....noname.com ?? Nope, they will be buying aol.

Will AOL drop into the $60's...maybe yes, maybe no. This much is fairly certain...this time next year, aol will be considerably higher...everything in between is pure window dressing. Earnings out soon ...typically their best qtr....almost certainly a broadband deal will be announced before long. At current price aol is a bargain.

As I said no worries here...the internet is just getting started...wireless.....aol will be in the middle of it all. Who was that on stage saying that we need to make the internet available to everybody ...?? That was our president bill clinton addressing our nation. Who was sitting up there next to him ?? Oh, that was steve case and michael armstrong........Who has every business in the world throwing ungodly amount of $$'s at their feet for access to their eyeballs ?? Oh, that must be aol. Who has the proven best business model in the industry ?? AOL again. Who has the capability to swallow up all their competitors in one fell swoop.....Aol, of course. Free isp!! Ha, aol will eat them for lunch. First of all...high speed is the future and it will not be for free. Dial up will be nothing. However, lets assume that somehow it remains as a large target audience. Lets also suppose the free isp model actually works ( not in a million years...but lets at least suppose it does )....how will they generate revenue ? From the eyeballs they have. Who has the eyeballs ? I mean who is probably the one and only company that could actually make a free dial up isp service work simply because they can generate revenue elsewhere ? AOL, thats who. IF free isp is worth having....you can guarantee aol will do it..whether they use their compuserve brand...or spin off another......AOL is the one and only company that could pull this off.

When all the folks in wireless start inking deals for content, who will they be goibg to....msn or earthlink/mindspring ?? Or will they go with the company that has more eyeballs then all their competitors combined?? Well, if I were them, I would go with the company that not only is the proven winner of content and customer satisfaction, but also has such a large customer base built up it is not even funny. The aol brand loyalty is a strong thing and thisn has been proven.

Anyway...as I said...I have no worries. If nothing changes fundamentally, I am happy as a bug in a rug and nwill not worry about my aol. Will it dip ? will the doom and gloomers come out ? Will there be a new reason pop up as to why aol is dead ? Sure, there always is...but mark my words..... One year from today, this stock will be considerably higher and everything in between becomes a moot point.
