<<Cave men probably even held other cave men accountable for killing- I mean if they dressed for DINNER and all, they aren't going to be COMPLETE savages? Are they?>>

Neanderthals buried their dead with flowers, X, as you probably already know. They carried their aged and severely disabled young along with them, most certainly at great hardship to themselves, as life was harsh living in caves. As we know from archaeological excavations, cave people who could not in any way care for themselves and were essentially helpless lived for long times with serious injuries and diseases, because others were hunting for them and sustaining them. All of these behaviors, of course, show a great reverence for life, and are indicators of a civilized moral code.
