Cirruslvr, I think we need to prepare now for the Y3K problem. After all you can'y get too ready for these things.
Looks like most big biz will do fine. All utilities did fine. Small and Medium business.....we will find out when the go back to work and start their machines up on Mon/Tue. There are bound to be some with Darbes problem.
Funny situation here in Canada, the insurance companies all insisted on Y2K readiness audits and the stock exchanges also insisted on the audits for all listed companies. I imagine the same happaned to all listed companies in the USA. So it may be that the only problems will occur in really small operations.
I am quite happy that there were no terrorist bombings anywhere, from what I could see.
I was fatalistically prepared for at least a few incidents. There were none at all, at least that made the news.
Of course the truly paranoid will wonder what has been suppressed.
