This should get a laugh. Jeff Davis of State Street predicts it won't be Qualcomm that garners market attention this year, it will be Coke and Best Foods. Can you imagine best Foods outpacing Qualcomm in 2000?

Next week I think there will be plenty of people selling their stock with modest gains (MSFT,INTC, etc.) who are ready to switch to something hotter...i.e. Qualcomm. My cousin is doing exactly that. Proceeds from tax-related sales will mainly be reinvested into the best prospects.

As far as my predictions--Other than Voltaire, not too many people predicted what happened in the last two months...so I'll just watch with interest.

Jmac.

Always difficult to call in the best of times, which is not what I would describe this period. It will continue to be very volatile for sure.
