You will see more and more of this as the Houses

Hey Volt, how's is going? Are the houses in the 7th Moon right now? Is Jupiter aligned with Mars? :0)

Personally, I look upon the market as a massive elephant, with the brokers as lice on the elephant, feeding for all they are worth. If you believe in a broker conspiracy theory, and you can use it to correctly predict short term moves, more power to you! It does not make any difference whether your theory is correct or not, if it gives useful results, great!

I believe short-term market prediction to be an art, not a science, in spite of what Jim Willie thinks.

(I am not going to argue it with you Jim! If it works for you, great!)

We all had an unbelievable November and December, and, because of it, I think the rah-rah spirit on this board is getting out of hand.

Q is now up around 2400% for last year, and has a market cap of about 110 Billion. That is an enormous shift in valuation! It is a result of Mr. Market seeing the value that those of us on this board saw earlier. I don't have a clue where it will be in month. I think it will be at double present value in 8 months, and will double again in 2001. It may do better, but I would not want to buy anything based on it being higher than that.

We will see enormous resistance in Europe to Q. they just hate to admit they are wrong. Same with AT&T.

This IDC "yak-yak" is nonsense. Q and IDC settled long ago, and no one is going to be able to get around the patents. We could see a suit filed by European companies and a drop in price next year, short term, because of it. These lawsuits will have no merit, but will be used as a negotiation tactic, IMO.

So, where are we? We are happy owners of the best company in the world to own stock in. But I think a lot of people on this board are manic about Q at the moment, and I would hate to see them go depressive if the stock does not move as fast as they are hoping for, or has a setback.

I just don't want you to have to go on Lithium, people! :0)

I believe what we are going to see is more of the same. Value minded mutual funds tossing in a mix of high-growth stocks to boost performace. I see no end to this rise during the next 2-3 weeks. BUT, prior to the Fed meeting and going into earnings announcements and predictions about Q2, I believe we may see a 5-10% correction. But, for the next 2 weeks, I have to believe it is going to be up up and away. Perhaps 200 on the Q during these 2 weeks.
