WSW Last Night by: Bill_Rhine 1/1/2000 4:30 pm EST Msg: 127424 of 127430 To my understanding (I didn't see the program) Lazlo Brinyni picked CPQ as one of his top picks for this year on Wall Street Week last night. I also heard another guest had CPQ as one of their recommendations. Does anyone have any details on this? Mr. Brinyni (sp) has one of the best track records anywhere on the street. Last year he picked AAPL.

El-- The "idiot of the year award" goes to cpq. A huge tech company to blow one of the biggest growth years by closing at 40% of its high.. that took alot of work to accomplish-- sadly most of the work proved negative results. I'll sure not count on cpq running ahead or even with the mkt,, unless the mkt is headed down...

El, I was in ITRA stock during Dec 23-24 when briefing.com trashed it as a BTB stock. I choose to buy NIUAJ contracts instead of selling my CPQ shares and buying more ITRA shares. I'm glad I did both. Perhaps Forbes article will keep CPQ down on Tuesday so I can buy more CPQ leaps<G>. Between the shares, options and leaps I have close to 8K shares of CPQ. I think CPQ will easily top $50 this year and go on to establish new highs...about time! Mikey
