For the most part, yes, that's what I'm suggesting, Lazarus.

"are you suggesting that the procreation of man from Adam to the present has been the result of men forcing themselves upon woman???"

However, I believe Adam is a Metaphor for the male self-loathing and Inferiority Complex that originates when a boy must leave Uterine Bliss, Never to return...he must renounce his Creator...WOMAN, if he is to be a successful independent male...[our culture hates a 'mama's boy"].

As a boy grows up, he experiences his innate aggression, which has a huge erotic component.

It's as if the writers of the bible felt ashamed of themselves, because they realized that the nature of 'maleness' was "anti-God'.

I think the concepts of 'original sin' and 'immaculate conception' are directly linked to an 'impurity complex'...the male desire to be 'made pure', like the life-giving Woman... because he feels he is Inferior and Impure.

A Woman knows better.

Women bring forth LIFE....men destroy it.

I think Women have as much collective Libido as males, perhaps more!
Women are Tactile, men are Visual.
Women have very different expectations/requirements than males do, just as horny, but turned on by emotional intimacy, whereas males are turned on...-period, ie, [back in the olden days], any Hole would do in a Pinch...Animal, mineral or Vegetable. men are Omnisexual.

Patriarchy is a Compensatory Reaction to the Truth in Nature.

-Hope I answered your question.
