It said it was not concerned about Y2k concerns or meeting demands of holiday shoppers.
``The goal is to serve customers in a way in which they want to be served, whether it's a store online or a bricks
and mortar store,' Clarke said.
Amazon.com, which has been the most heavily trafficked online retailer as it expands from books to other household
goods, said it's not worried about Wal-Mart. ``We're worried about taking care of the consumer, not any rival,' said
spokesman Bill Curry.
