kas1, Hi! The stock was a company called Tanisys in Austin, Texas. They were making memory modules for computer manufacturers. I say "were" because they just sold that part of the business.

This stock was brought to my attention by someone on the Compaq thread about 2 years ago. They were losing money but their growth plan and their new contracts with Compaq & others looked promising. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and the stock has been falling over the last year or so. Fortunately, I bailed out in early November and put the money in NTAP. As you can imagine, my money is MUCH happier being in NTAP since November.
