Paul, Re:"QUALCOMM and Intel have agreed to cooperate"

One would have thought that the mere mention of Intel in the same sentence with Qualcomm would have caused an instantaneous and meteoric rise in Intel's market cap. Let's see according to my analysis... QCOM is up 1700% this year. The article was posted a month ago. Right, so Intel should be up 1700/12 = 142% in the last month. What gives? This crazy market never ceases to amaze me.

I suppose Intel will have to gain respect the old fashioned way... by EARNING(s) it.

Seriously, this looks like another huge fertile plain for Intel to conquer. With Intel and MSFT peering greedily over the hand held horizon, will the Nokia's, Ericson's and 3Com's of the world soon become the box makers of tomorrow?

Thanks for your informative posts.

Happy New Year.

Thanks Paul...is everybody missing something here because to me this sounds very good(and very lucrative) for Intels' future, especially when they see QCOM going to 1000 on this technology. But then again, I could be missing something. Thanx again....M

Sorry Paul I see that Jacques and Tony alresdy addressed this.......M
