I've been clicking around Blink, after signing up, ever since my post. I'm stuck at the stage where I'm supposed to be importing my bookmarks from Netscape Navigator. It said at one point, I think, that you could only import automatically if you used IE and not Netscape Navigator. But then it went on to tell how to do it in NN. So I've tried, and gone to Help and FAQ's but remain at the stage where it declares "cannot enable privilege; user did not grant." Hmmmm. It also says if the "upload" of the bookmarks doesn't work, click on the "manual" button. When I do that, I receive instructions I'm unable to carry out successfully.

I'm sure it's my fault and not Blink's. But I'm going to forget it for today and maybe forever. The balance between my desire to have Blink and my impatience at the process has just shifted against Blink, I'm afraid.

But you're good with computers, and I'm sure you won't have the same problem. Especially if you have IE instead of NN.

I like it in theory, but instead I think I'll just be very faithful about updating my rescue disk.
