This is a *real* shame. I have to admit that I also got bit by Netscape's Y2K bug in Javascript!
The Date.getYear() method returns 100 for date '01/01/2000' instead of 2000, LIKE THE MANUAL CLAIMED it would.
Needless to say, IE works fine!
BTW, I highly recommend this book amazon.com

Here, you will see how Netscape really dropped the ball.
