Thanks for the responses and good suggestions. I was trying to execute an order the other day for 1000 shares of DPMI. I put a tight limit order in that could have been filled for the ASK price set at my limit price for a minute or two. Bottom line is my order was not placed and the stock climbed about 1 to 1.5 points a few minutes later. I was looking for a one point gain and felt I should have gotten the order. That is when I started paying attention to the bid and ask size and how these sizes affect execution. I assume a bid size of one equals 100 shares.
