Glenn --

I believe the first split was 3:2, not 3:1.

Glenn,

You are correct about JDS's 3:1 split. I can remember it. After the merger this summer, we had roughly half as many shares of the merged entity, then there was a 2:1 split a while (1-2 months) following the merger. So there were two 2:1 splits in 1999, and one 1:2 consolidation.
One initial share in JDS would now equal about 6 shares of JDU.
