I wasn't referring to you. I think that the nastiness that conservatives like Rush Limbaugh and the American Spectator direct towards liberals is hateful, and has infected the tone of political debate all over this country, including SI. I don't know where it started, that's the first place I noticed it. I don't dislike Limbaugh, I don't dislike the people who write for the American Spectator, but I do dislike the nastiness. E.g., "the type of sex Janet Reno likes won't get you pregnant." I recently was reading Lucianne Goldfarb's (sp?) web site, and saw that the comments to her articles were of the same type. Stuff that belongs under rocks, and I wish it would crawl back there. I am conservative, and I don't think we need this type of hateful nastiness.
