I posted this on the QCOM thread, but could have just as well posted here since it involves GSTRF. It's just my opinion, but I believe that GSTRF as well as, QCOM are going to continue to explode beyond anybody's wildest dreams.

QCOM can only continue to rise. Look at the internets and the internet IPO's. Internet was the buzzword and due to pure supply and demand everyone wanted in. The thing is it's not too difficult to start an internet company all you need is a computer. Look at how many of these IPO's are internet company's and how they explode upward for no reason except they are a low float internet with market demand. Look at companies like freemarkets(FMKT) it really doesn't make much sense. BUT NOW THE BUZZWORD IS WIRELESS. and it's much more difficult for hundreds of new IPO's to come out in the wireless market, since you actually have to "start a real company" unlike having some computers, software and an idea with the internet. And if you want to get into wireless your first thought has to be QCOM. There is going to be a lot more demand for far more companies. In fact if a company like GSTRF was not already trading publicly and became an IPO, and was given media coverage including association with QCOM and CDMA technology. And that it has just completed it's satellite system and that preliminary beta testing has been excellent and the system is now ready for full deployment. I would be willing to bet that this company would come out at about $120-140+ a share. Just watch how these wireless companies will continue to grow, and how every other company will try to show that they have something to do with the wireless world.

GSTRF and QCOM Rock!!

Dealer, what a shame you never margined! I've advocated for years that The New Paradigm was handing savers' money [is that a good apostrophe Jon - I'm not sure since money is sort of a plural] to share buyers because Alan Green$pan was avoiding deflation and could print trillions because there was no 'inflation'.

The suckers holding cash were being bled dry without even knowing it because although their money was 'holding value' with zero inflation, it was losing value compared with The New Paradigm stocks and even the old worlde stocks which are being carried along in the slipstream of The New Paradigm stocks. As you can see, Qualcomm's 'currency' left Alan Green$pan's currency in the dust. Even boring old Coca Cola, Gillette and the rest of the Dow left Alan's $$ in the dust, with the Dow celebrating 2000 with a new all-time high.

Being of an altruistic nature, it pained me to see all these savers trying to lend their money at derisory interest rates. Sadly, there were also many Globalstar shareholders wanting to sell their shares at $3 split-adjusted. Even Qualcomm shareholders were wanting to bail out at $32 in 1996 [$4 in today's Y2K share numbers]. So, what could I do but borrow the saver's money [there might have been only one of them, so that apostrophe should be okay] and use it to rescue those selling Globalstar and Qualcomm from their situation.

As you say, it's amazing how many people don't 'get it'.

Anyway, I'm happy. I've nobly helped people wanting to lend their money and bought stock which people were wanting to dump. Personally, I think I should get some sort of medal.

Maurice

PS: You have to watch out for Alan Green$pan though because when stockmarkets go swooping down in a giant margin-hunting expedition, wolfing down over-margined people by the million, he might not rescue everyone with a bit of money-printing. Not until things are REALLY bad by which time I will have had to nobly come to the rescue and buy even more stock from desperate sellers, using the freshly-minted SuperDollars which Alan Green$pan will be keen to lend to save the world.

What makes me say Qillionaires are margined? Since we know there is a large number of people with margins, it would be statistically absurd to think that plenty of Qillionaires aren't margined. Charles Schwab for example, restricts people to 50% margin on Mighty Q! [being a 'volatile' stock], presumably because some people wanted to be at higher margins still. Some of them have even used credit cards if I remember rightly - crazy though that might seem to me and you. Hang on, are you saying you are a Qillionaire? Must be since you tried to prove my theorem false by pointing to your own example. Wow! Not to worry, if I keep up my good works helping others, I should do okay.

The first day of trading in Y2K should be fun. I guess there'll be a big celebration that there WAS no bug, even though there might be heaps show up over the next week or three. Globalstar will be crazy as people pile in.

Meanwhile, I guess you won't be buying me a lunch since you haven't availed yourself of my highly valuable information. Not to worry, if I get hungry sheep are cheap - I'll be fine. Buy sheep, sell deer = good stock market motto.
