One of my points in the original post was that the bubble came into being partly as a result of the Bears capitulating. Some of the Bears I know act very bizarre at times and have become quite depressed because they know they are partly to blame for the creation of the Bubble they inherently detest and can make no sense of. To be sure, in order to survive, they had to make the move. But it is never easy going against one's principles and values. The moral here, I suppose, is to take a phenomenological Husserlian approach to investing and trading.
