Please stick to precision, CB. This is precisely what I said: A quick note for when you return--and I hope your walk is pleasant and invigorating, BTW. I understand why Ish finds Daniel so unpleasant from some of his postings elsewhere; this is not a slur but a statement of fact. However, I personally think that it's a great idea to let all the baggage possible drop and that we should all follow your proposal of yesterday. We have begun a new year and it's an opportunity to move forward together rather than waste our fingertips rehashing. A proposal for thread amnesty! I did not say "terrible" and I did not try to drag Neocon into my statement. I showed respect for the reasons for tension, that they are not frivolous antagonisms. I have no hatchet to bury in Daniel's back nor any wish for one. I respect the reasons why Ish might have a sense of antagonism toward Daniel; he posted his reasons on this thread. They were posted from elsewhere, but he posted them as explanatory of his attitude rather as an attack. JLA was quite swift to catch the third-party attack. I was offline at the time, but I appreciated his posting. If I had an interest in back-stabbing, there have been marvelous opportunities. I do not take advantage of them.
