Blinking and wondering where this is coming from.... Lizzie and I encountered each other on stock threads. As far as I know, we have a lively respect and liking for each other. We disagree on many issues, but I consider her a friend and she knows that I think highly of her, regardless of our disagreements on some issues. My interactions with lorrie were taking her seriously, regardless of how far she went over the edge, IMO. When it felt too open to hurt--again, IMO--I avoided engagement. I was so very happy to see her leave the politics behind and engage on other topics, such as films. I fail to see how taking her seriously and engaging her is burying a hatchet in her back. If I comment on the rest of your posting, I am immediately guilty of talking about people behind their backs online. I have already gone too far in terms of talking about people who are "third party" to your and my discussion; however, I do not think that the two people referenced would feel that I had violated their privacy or caused them any hurt. "Bias" is a very unpleasant word to use. I hope that you typed it before you thought about what you were suggesting.
