Wolfdog - I don't prize consistency, I prize making money in a logical fashion. If I happen to get lucky, fine. But I try to be honest about the luck component. Neither you nor CTSL are ever honest about random luck - or even reversion to the mean.

If I misunderstand the Growth Flow Model I'm sorry. I'm simply repeating what Michael Murphy himself explained to me over a cup of coffee. If you go back and read my sentence you will see that you don't understand my language.

Informed Criticism - how much more informed can you be than handing him money to invest and auditing the results? How much more informed can you be than checking his sources. Something that always bothered me was to never see him at annual meetings of companies that he featured, despite the fact that he would later report on what went on at that annual meeting. A follow-up to the CFO would elicit a chuckle, and some info about a telephone call from MM. Multiple times I caught him parroting reports culled from on-line data sources when my own questions of the CEO would give quite different information. Hence I came to mistrust many of the specific facts he printed.

Long ago his sources were better than mine. With the internet, the playing field is even.

That you characterize open dialog as not being "civil and informed", is an important clue as to how read your future posts.
