Maybe IJ will take the Intel approach of buying some small GSM company. Do you know of any small GSM technology company?

I'm talking off of the top of my head here so take this with a grain of salt. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that Dr. J. stated in the Q&A of the handset sale announcement, that buying a GSM company would not solve the problem because of the licensing issue. They wouldn't necessarily get the GSM royalty license without renegotiating. I believe he indicated that a joint venture was much more likely.

Perhaps a TI/QCOM joint venture would make more sense.
