Pagan -- one who is not of an organized religion, from ME paganus (civilian -- i.e. not a soldier of Christ), from Latin paganus (country person, i.e. ignorant clod.)

You understand that today (010100 = decimal 18), the Church celebrates the 2000th anniversary of the Feast of the Circumcision of Jesus. Be careful what you eat and what you cut.

I am using pagan simply to differentiate the earth religions from Christianity, Michael. The pagans of old did tend to be at least as barbaric as Christians and adherents of all religious belief systems. The Wiccans or neo-pagans today are nature loving, feminist environmentalists who do NOT practice any kind of black magic and are trying to save the planet from ecological destruction.
