One thing you should all know: the QCOM/IDC dispute involves old technology. There are many standards that comprise cellular, satellite, TDMA, CDMA, WDMA etc and the dispute covered only IS95.

With the impending 3G and forthcoming 4G, IS95 is a pin dot on the scope of ever-increasing audio and video bandwidth.

QCOM may have won this battle but the ever-increasing wireless is about to be waged by the giant telecoms in many IS standards and flavors.
