How do we know that? You are very good at taking denunciations of women at second hand. Just because someone calls a woman a harlot, we don't know that she is. Most of the harlots I've known claim to have been raped. I don't know any harlots whose husbands stayed at home making love to them and keeping them satisfied and happy, instead of running off with a bag of money for who knows what reason.

I think it's safe to say that Most Women were 'raped' in those days.

It just wasn't called 'rape'.

It would seem that a 'harlot' is no more than any 'disobedient' Female...or a Female that could not be controlled Sexually.
