Mike: My experiment with the One, One, One was just that an experiment.

In no way has it been in competition with your Front Office Software Game.

Your game is very special, has been very informative and your commentary on it periodically has helped us all learn.

(I did start a game in 1998 at the same time you did, but there has never been any real interest in it [despite the Q being half - a touch or irony there], and as you know I dropped it.)

The One Gorilla, One King, One Godzilla game was created as a minimalist way to test what I considered to be the best candidate in each category weighted one half for the gorilla, one third for the king and one sixth for the godzilla. The weights were deliberate to reflect what I expected would be performance. That has been borne out.

My confidence in the One, One, One's future is strong.

The next Qualcomm and is Qualcomm.

Suggest those of you (not you yourself of course) might find Voltaire's post on the Q thread of Gilder's views on the future as heavily concentrated on photons, bodes well for JDSU.

And SFE is the most conservative way to participate in e commerce that I am aware of

So I plan no change whatsoever in the One, One, One in 2000.

Let's see what the performance is

Best, as always.

PS And I remember very well very positive exchanges (and your help) ever since the old Fool/AOL "Networking" board, so the number of new years has been many. I look forward to as many more as are granted to me.
