Y2K - none of the "me too" reporters has picked up on what I thought would be an obvious angle. In addition to averting major economic dislocation, the US just spent $100 billion testing, strengthening and upgrading our IT infrastructure.

And our economy kept kicking ass while we did it. So we can only emerge better, strong and more productive.

Except for the yo-yo's with the 6-month supply of SPAM in their bunker. Hehehehehehe.
