Chinmoy Roy...Excellent story, Up or down, playing the percentages..Same scenario with AOL. How many people hedged out of AOL because of Y2k fears? The same percentage that purchased generators from Sears, 100's of gallons of drinking water and withdrew a ton of cash from their bank accounts due to fear of the unknown? Perhaps ..IMHO Now that it's here and it appears that everything is going smoothly we'll see a very larger turn around for AOL during the 1st two weeks of Jan..Hell if half of what I read about analysts top pick being AOL then percentage wise it's got to go up..

Best,

TJG

Chinmoy: This relationship I have with my broker is quite different. I do not pay any commissions at all. There is no reason for anything but proper advice to make my assets grow. I would be aware of the recommendations based on selfish reasons. I would not be doing as well without this man's very ethical and proper guidance. Those who do not use a broker are missing a valuable tool. I make the ultimate decisions, however, my decisions are framed by research and feedback of a broker who has shown me many times over that his clients come first. So, your analogy does not quite fit. You, and others who do well on your own might consider a relationship type of account where there are no commissions whatsoever. The trade off is a small fee for great help. If you have never done this, try it.
