Hi Sunny, There is a slight distinction between web hosting companies such as Verio/Mindspring and data center operators such as Exodus. Verio will host a web site on their own servers. It's targeted for small customers. The website owner is given a fixed amount of disk space and bandwidth, and is only responsible for the content in that website. The data center operators actually target bigger customers that own their own servers. The data center provides the guaranteed network bandwidth and infrastructure for housing the servers. Administration of the servers is the customers responsibility. Essentially what the customer gets is space, bandwidth and guaranteed power reliability. Hope I did not confuse you... Piyush
