I'm glad you mentioned the eiffel tower... I felt the same way - wow! That was beautiful. Number two I thought was DC... did you see that - it started with white lights cascading up the structure... then a background of white fireworks, then red lights - I thought it was as good as Sydney, those singluar tall structures offered a nice opportunity to show off. The Seattle mayor really screwed up an opportunity - the space needle could have been almost as nice as DC, imo.
