ACTV (ticker IATV) is VERY HOT. This company is in the middle of the convergence between the TV and PC?INTERACTIVE TELEVISION with the new digital set-top boxes. Liberty Media (LMG.a) (John Malone) has a 14% stake in them with warrants to buy 25% of the company. This company is in bed with a lot of big name companies: Fox Sports Net, CNN, General Instrument Corp, Scientific Atlanta, Liberty Media, TV Guide just to name a few. When digital cable comes out there will be over 300 channels. This company will be in the center of digital ADVERTISING. With so many channels advertisers will no longer be able to go to every channel. The viewer will have to come to them. Sporting events will have multiple camera angles selected by the viewer. Interactive horse racing (YES with wagering, where LEGAL..I believe 8 states) . This company has so much to offer at least check out their home page: actv.com Look at the company news from Dec 6. Four large brokerage firms are now in a quiet period (30 days), before a small secondary offering. The underwriters are Credit Suisse First Boston, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney.
