He basically says technology has been at heart a religious endeavor I sometimes think that there is little difference in outlook between a Medieval Bishop and a Physics Department Head! However: Aristotle's view was that this is the real world and you can use reason to understand it. His ideas run the Engineering departments of our Universities Plato's view was that there is a world beyond the one we see, and that reason is of no use in discovering it. His ideas run the Liberal Arts departments of our Universities. This dichotomy is the source of much of the Intellectual confusion in this country.
