No one is not the descendant of an immigrant, not even the Amer-Indians, unless all of archeology to date is inaccurate. Therefore, it ill behooves any of us to try to push anyone else out. In my family we tend to share and enjoy some ethnic jokes, the kind that touch reality with a recognition. However, they tend to be gentle laughs at cultural differences because my uncles were of an age to remember all too vividly the want ads that were quite specific: "Anglo-Saxon wanted; Irish need not apply."
