This is extremely good for AMD in the sense that the channel seems to be clear of lower MHz products and AMD is shipping high ASP products right from the get go in Q1. It would also be interesting to see if Compaq offers anything less than 600MHz for Athlons. Chuck P.S.: Now if we can get some good penetration on the business side with Athlons, an extremely smooth ramp from Dresden, and no nasty competitive surprises from Intel we may have a shot at the $7 EPS number that Niceguy talks about ;-) Looking forward to some of these events unfold but just don't think we are ready to make those kind of assumptions yet.
