That's how I use it..Open a Sch D form,,and enter the trades as you recieve your confirm slips,,save the file each time add to it as you go along..tracks your profit and loss,,,and is done at the end of the year<g>...Generally I end up using the previous years program to track,and have to re-enter when the new one comes out(but it's simple),,for instance, now I need the 2000 version,,,but will enter and track on my 99 one..I've heard Quicken is the way to go,,and it will export the data right to turbo tax..DD (but bootomline-my 99 sch D is done<g>)
