Like I said, many have done better than I. But if you don't count time as a very important factor, we are just comparing apples and oranges. The Beardstone Ladies did good too until the true facts were known. I assess the total value of all my portfolio's at year end and never add new money.

GAMBLING IS GREAT AND THE INTERNET HAS MADE IT SO MUCH FUN!
I started 10 years ago and my yearly average compounded portfolio gain stands at 48.91%. In the first year I lost half of my money, so maybe we could chalk it up to tuition for learning the trade. Re-figuring the results for 9 years (starting with half as much), gives me an average annual compounded portfolio gain of 68.11%. Others have done better.

Disaster came close when the market dropped in Fall of 1997, but isn't that what makes the game so much fun?

Reality check: If you are out of chips you can't play!....Tomorrow we start a brand new year, best to all....humble carl
