My point about the dinosaurs extinction is that with out this event there is no intelligent life on earth...What are the odds of this event which allows the otherwise inferior mammals to flourish? .....I don't have a clue...As far as the "urge to praise God" this itself may [ or may not] be an evolutionary adaptation. Primitive cultures may have co-operated better had they had this urge in common. After all most religious rules are indeed a benefit to the group.
