Hi niceguy767; Re the future of AMD's stock price...

The most similar company I can think of is TXN:
quote.yahoo.com
For 20 years, their stock went nowhere, as did the company. Then they got some DSP attention, and now look, nothing but up since 1992. I expect AMD to pull a similar move due to the Athlon, as business users switch to it, and Intel continues to lose market share at the high (and profitable) end. To really appreciate the TXN move, find a 25-year price chart.

RE: "the better mousetrap at the better price"? Nice guy, I know you're just as bullish as I am about AMD, but please drop that line already. You're going to make us all toss our cookies over that one. The next three weeks prior to and just beyond earnings announcement time is going to be great. I may get back into some options tomorrow, but I'm afraid their may be an immediate spike up out of the gates.
Oh well, would still jump in. If I'm wrong and I hope I am, may hope to get in at an entrance at around 27 3/8 to 27 1/2. Do you agree?

Regards,
Ed P.
