CB, I'm trying to find out if it's a Texas thang. I've got the question out on the Robert's rules of order site if there is the equivalent for courtroom procedure. Is there? I don't know many people who know exactly what their rights are in a courtroom. Where do we find out? For instance, can you be fined for not appearing for jury duty? Is there a maximum? Is it up to the judge? Are there guidelines? If one is fined should they all be fined? Am I required to swear to tell the truth? Can I be compelled to follow a dress code? Am I required to stand when the judge enters? Can I be fined if I don't?

I've got more.
