I don't know, I think about 1000 B.C. to about 500 B.C. Still, if you found, say, Nike sneakers in China, and Europe, you'd probably be accurate in positing a connection between the people who wore them in China and the people who wore them in Europe. The textiles that are referred to are as distinctive as Nike sneakers vs. Keds or Reeboks.
