Check my prior post to Windbag. If you'll check the Compaq site you'll see that the series in question that is freezing up also contains Intel chips. Must be a Compaq problem. Can see you don't do your research either.

Hey guys check this post just two days ago <84738>. Now Paul seems to be missing in action. Hardly, he said. Gateway down a bunch in last five days and 8 in after hours. You guys could be correct. Dell to follow?
