Can you believe JDSU split on the 30th of Dec. and announced another one today-on shareholder approval...Splits are the thing,,I see Track data sent out an email asking shareholders if they want another split,,,<lol> now that is catering<lol> what a hoot!!!
"NEW YORK -- January 3, 2000 --Track Data Corporation
(Nasdaq NMS: TRAC) announced today that it is conducting a
public opinion poll on future splits of its common stock.
The poll will end on Sunday, January 9.

Track Data's recently completed stock split, its second
within two months, resulted in widely varying reactions
from investors and the media. Comments ranged from splits
are not traditionally done at low prices, to splits provide
liquidity and draw attention to Track Data and its myTrack
product. The poll is designed to provide a quantifiable
survey of the attitude of investors. It is informal and not
binding on Track Data.

Barry Hertz, Chairman and CEO, said, "We try to stay close
to our shareholders and myTrack members and we are really
looking to them for some feedback on this issue.""
