2/08/00 - ARALDICA WINERIES, LTD. ACQUIRES ON-LINE GAMING DEVELOPMENT COMPANY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IRVINE, Calif., Feb 8, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Araldica Wineries, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: AWLT) announced today that the Company has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Interactive Solutions Corporation ("ISC"). ISC is a worldwide developer, marketer, and distributor of Internet gaming products and services for the gaming, hospitality, and entertainment industries. In conjunction with the acquisition the Company has changed its name to Interactive Solutions Corporation and effected a 1:1,000 reverse split. The name change and stock split will be for shareholders of record at the close of business February 11, 2000 and becomes effective February 14, 2000. Interactive Solutions Corporation, a Nevada based corporation, focuses on e-commerce and the expanding e-gaming markets. ISC's suite of proprietary products includes; TheBet, Internet casino games for licensed casinos; TheBook, Internet sports wagering system; and ThumbTracks, biometrics applications for privacy and security solutions. ISC intends to license its gaming software to licensed offshore entities. In management's opinion, ISC's flagship products, TheBet and TheBook, will redefine the e-gaming industry. The same programmers that develop CD-ROM games for major toy industry players developed TheBet and TheBook for ISC. TheBet includes casino games such as Craps, Baccarat, Roulette, Video Poker, Slots, Let-It-Ride, Caribbean Stud, assorted Classic Poker, Blackjack, Red Dog, and Sic Bo. TheBook takes straight bets, parlays, teasers, exotics and futures in Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Boxing, and other sports events. Growth in both the gaming industry and the Internet is continuing strongly. Industry experts, Frost and Sullivan suggest the e-gaming industry exceeded $800 million in 1998 and will grow significantly in 2000. The River City Group projects e-gaming consumer expenditures in 1999 reached approximately $1.2 billion and will grow to nearly $3.0 billion in 2002. The Wall Street Journal projected annual revenues from Internet gaming will total between $10-20 billion in 2000. ISC strategic plan is to take existing business opportunities within the gaming and wagering markets, and integrate them into the Internet and globally accessible private networks. Through its involvement with the established gaming markets, the hospitality industry, international governmental projects (such as regulation and implementation of online gaming laws), regulatory commission(s) assistance and strategic subsidiaries, and partnerships, ISC hopes to take maximum advantage of opportunities in these industries.
