Re: Y2K? I Never Said Y2K...

The OLB system is groaning under the stress of volume and the new year. Anecdotal but happening: miscalculated margins, slow refreshes, unavailable quotes.

At one broker, I keep getting "timed out" soon after I log in. Perhaps I've been on since 1900? :-)

Best thing to do may be nothing, as initial NAPM data seems to be placing floor under bonds...

Greetings from Playa de Carmen Mexico cyber cafe.
Yesa a great new years. Up $10,000 today as my beaten down doggies finally rise out of tax selling dumps. All but BNBN are up, thatïs 19 out of 20. Now just holding on as some of them actually become momentum stocks (heh heh).

Thanks for your message Rande. Yes it is a happy new year. Not a single bummer or computer crash worldwide that Iïve heard about. Which means stocks should now feel free to rally at least for 3 weeks until we get close to Fed meeting. Iïm in until then at least.

No recommendations anymore. If youïre not loaded up by now with beaten down dogs you missed the boat. Good luck with your momentum stocks. I wish I knew more about them. But Iïm happy wqith the equities I have, all solid oversold performers. You know the list. What can I say, WHEW! (Afterall I margined up $87,000 last week to my limit)
